The Thumb Area Charter Captain’s Association was established to promote recognition of the charter industry in the thumb area and to insure the general public that when chartering with a member captain your safety is our first priority.
Our Mission Statement:
- To promote the recognition of the charter industry and the professionalism of the charter captains in the thumb area.
- To insure the general public that our vessels are fully inspected by the State of Michigan and the Captains are licensed by the United States Coast Guard. To secure continued fish plants, improve our harbor facilities, and to promote the thumb area.
